Guide Big Small

Overview
Despite the fact that this game is one of the easiest on the block to play, the amount of bets and bet types one can make is nothing if not vast thanks to the fact that the betting options available for Sic Bo are dependent on the combinations one is able to achieve with three dice. The player is allowed to wager as many combinations as he desires per game and must wait for the dice to be shaken by a dealer who usually uses a vibrating platform under a circular glass cover. It is only once all bets have been submitted that the dealer will start up the dice shaker. After the dice shaker stops shaking, the numbers that the dice land on will appear on a display and the corresponding winning combinations will simultaneously light up on the table. The round comes to an end when the dealer removes all losing bets from the table and issues payouts to the winners.

If you choose to make small and big bets, you will generally be able to win more often with them. So what are Small and Big bets? A Small bet is when the player predicts that the sum total of the roll of the three dice will be between 4 and 10, while a Big bet revolves around the player predicting the sum total of the dice to be between 11 and 17. When it comes to a Big bet, the odds are 1 is to 1 which means that you do risk winning less money than you would if you made a Small bet, however, you also have a greater chance of winning something.
If one were to look closely at the Sic Bo rules, one would realise that betting on a single number can actually win you more money than you would averagely be able to, however, unfortunately, while the payout rate is decidedly higher for a single number, the chances of winning are decidedly lower. If you do however opt to bet on a single number, you really should concentrate on a single die and try to predict which number of the six is going to come up. Indeed, it is not unheard of to bet several times on the same number to get a favourable result.

The Sic Bo Bets
The great thing about online Sic Bo is the wide variety of different bets you can make. There is a correspondingly wide variety of odds and payouts, ranging from even money to 180-to-1, for winning Sic Bo bets.
a. Small and Big
Small: You win if the total sum of the three dice is between 4 and 10, but is not a triple.
Big: You win if the total sum of the three dice is between 11 and 17, but is not a triple.
An important rule to note is that Big and Small both lose if any triple appears. This explains why a total of 3 and 18 is not included in these bets.
The payout on Big and Small is 1 to 1 i.e. it's an evens chance bet, making these bets the basis of our Lower risk Sic Bo strategy.

b. Even and Odd
Even: You win if the total sum of the three dice is 4,6,8,10,12,14,16, but is not a triple
Odd: You win if the total sum of the three dice is 5,7,9,11,13,15, but is not a triple
An important rule to note is that Even and Odd both lose if any triple appears. This explains why a total of 3 and 18 is not included in these bets.
The payout on Big and Small is 1 to 1 i.e. it's an evens chance bet.
